How far in advance should I book my Kidmoto ride?

Kidmoto is a pre-booked service, not on-demand. How much lead time to give, what happens with same-day requests, and how to book for a flight that leaves tonight.

Kidmoto is pre-booked, not on-demand

Unlike rideshare apps, every Kidmoto ride is scheduled in advance so we can assign a driver and pre-install the car seats your children need before pickup. You cannot hail a Kidmoto at the airport curb the way you would an on-demand taxi.

How much lead time should I give?

We recommend booking at least 24 hours before your pickup time. Booking earlier — days or even weeks ahead, as soon as you have your flights — is even better, especially for:

  • Early-morning pickups (before 9am)

  • Holiday and school-break travel weeks

  • Rides needing multiple car seats or larger vehicles (minivan, SUV, Sprinter)

  • Cities outside the New York City area

Can I book a same-day ride?

Sometimes! Same-day requests are accepted when a driver with the right car seats is available. The sooner you reach out, the better your chances. For same-day travel, don't just submit the booking form — email us right away at [email protected] and our team will check live availability for your route.

Flying tonight?

Reserve before you fly rather than waiting until you land. Send us your flight number when you book — we track your flight, so if it's early or delayed your driver adjusts automatically at no extra charge.
