Sometimes yes — but we publish exactly what each level costs, so there are no surprises. Cleaning fees exist because your driver may be unable to keep working until the vehicle is cleaned, and often has to pay a professional cleaner.
Vehicle interior
$50 — a moderate mess needing extra cleaning, such as a small amount of vomit.
$120 — a major mess requiring seat belt cleaning, professional upholstery cleaning, and cleaning inside the doors and windows.
Car seat
$25 — a minor mess on the cushion.
$60 — a medium mess that needs a professional cleaner.
$90 — a larger mess that needs more intensive professional cleaning.
In rare cases where a car seat is damaged beyond cleaning, a further charge applies. We'll contact you and confirm the amount before charging.
How we decide
We charge for the level of cleaning actually needed — nothing more. Our support team will email you to explain any charge before or as it's applied, so you'll never simply find an unexplained amount on your statement.
How to avoid it
If your child gets motion sick, tell us when you book or text 844-542-5188 before the ride. We'll let your driver know so they can keep the ride as smooth as possible, take a gentler route where they can, and be prepared. Parents who warn us in advance very rarely end up paying a cleaning fee.
A little bit of mess — crumbs, a spilled drink, ordinary travel untidiness — is part of driving families. We don't charge for that.
