What does "subtotal" mean on my bill?
Your ride subtotal is the base fare for your trip. It excludes tolls, taxes, surcharges, fees and gratuity. Percentage-based charges — such as cancellation fees — are always calculated on the subtotal, never on the full total. You can see this line on your booking confirmation email. Is my online quote the final price?
Your quote covers your fare and any fixed add-ons you select at booking. Certain charges vary by trip and are billed separately — specifically tolls, parking, and airport fees, which differ by route and location. Your fare also changes if you modify the trip itself (for example, adding a stop or extra waiting time). Are tolls, parking, and airport fees included?
No — tolls, parking, and airport fees vary by location and route, so they are charged separately from your quoted fare. For rides in New York and New Jersey, tolls are charged as a flat add-on of $22 per trip. NYC congestion pricing is $0.75 below 60th Street, paid to New York State. An additional fee applies for cruise port charges. What surcharges are there, and when do they apply?
Surcharges are the same in every city we operate in:
Early morning (12:00 am – 5:00 am): $20
AM rush hour (5:00 am – 9:00 am): $5
PM rush hour (3:00 pm – 7:00 pm): $7
Any surcharge that applies to your trip is already included in the quote you see when you book.Is the quote for a one-way or round trip?
Each quote is for a one-way booking. If you need a return trip, you can book it separately. Is there a late-booking fee?
Yes — a $30 late booking fee applies when a ride is booked less than 12 hours before pickup. It does not apply in New York, New Jersey or Orlando. It won't appear in your initial quote and is added to your final charge, which is processed a few days after your ride. Late-booking pricing also varies by market, because drivers are harder to find close to pickup time. What are the waiting charges?
Every trip includes a free grace period before waiting charges begin. For airport pickups, that's 30 minutes after a domestic arrival and 60 minutes after an international arrival — measured from your actual landing time, because we track your flight. For all other pickups (home, hotel, or any non-airport address), the grace period is 15 minutes after your scheduled pickup time. After the grace period, waiting is charged at $1 per minute. Drivers can normally wait up to 2 hours if needed, so a 1–2 hour extended wait would cost approximately $60–$120. In some cases we may need to adjust this depending on driver availability. More on waiting time. What are your base rates?
Rates vary from city to city, so the base fare and per-mile/per-minute rates depend on your pickup location. Vehicle availability also varies by market — for example, minivans are only offered in certain markets. We offer Sedans, Minivans, and Large SUVs depending on your party size and luggage needs. For exact pricing, enter your trip details in the app or on our website for an instant quote. Is there a charge for additional passengers?
There's no additional passenger charge. However, some vehicles have limited seating capacity, so if you're traveling with a larger group, please contact our support team in advance so we can alert the driver and ensure the right vehicle. Please also report your luggage accurately at booking — drivers may decline a trip if luggage exceeds the vehicle's safe carrying capacity. What optional add-ons are available?
Meet & Greet (inside terminal pick-up): $15. Additional stop: $20.Is gratuity included?
Yes — a 15% gratuity is included by default in your fare. Gratuity sits outside your ride subtotal, so it isn't included when a cancellation fee is calculated as a percentage. Are there cleaning fees?
Ordinary travel mess — crumbs, a spilled drink — is never charged. If the vehicle or a car seat needs real cleaning before the next family can ride: vehicle interior $50 for a moderate mess or $120 for a major one; car seat $25, $60 or $90 depending on the level of cleaning needed. We'll always email you to explain any charge. Full cleaning fee breakdown. What if I need to reschedule?
There's no fee to change your reservation 24 hours or more before pickup. For same-day changes, a $20 rescheduling fee applies on top of your quoted rate, and changes are subject to availability. The fee does not apply to airline-caused changes. How to change your reservation. What if I cancel?
Free more than 2 hours before pickup (more than 8 hours for 12:00 am–7:00 am pickups). $30 within that window, $75 if your driver is already on the way, and 100% of your ride subtotal if your driver has already arrived. Full cancellation policy. Why do I see a $25 charge that isn't my fare?
That's a temporary verification hold placed when your card is stored, not a fee. It is released by your bank and is separate from the $30 late-booking fee described above. Your card is pre-authorized 24 hours before your ride and charged after the ride is complete. More on the $25 hold. How do I get an exact quote for my trip?
